Words stumble forth
Inadequate to explain
Conditions that afflict me
Yet only privately seen

My wounds are invisible
Yet hurting just the same
Then my friend discerns
And gently reaches out

Ointment of kindness applied.
Unseen injuries begin to heal.
Powerful cure discovered.
