My oldest daughter and I enjoyed coffee recently and wrote a poem together for the first time. Just a bit of silliness was involved. Here is our finished project. And, my daughter says to read the entire poem in a British accent. It's funnier that way. COFFEE Hot and frothy Oh my, it's coffee! Vital to life, It helps stop strife. Drink it morning, noon, or night I love each bite - I mean, sip Not the greatest with cheese Oh Mummy, take me please Starbucks, Starbucks I'll pay a million bucks - Oh, wait! That's not so hard, I received a gazillion gift cards! And, there you have it. A masterpiece written during a wonderful coffee outing on a cold winter afternoon with my daughter. What are some of your favorite quality time activities with young people in your life?
